Observe ESD considerations, and replace the plug-and-play EIDE hard drive controller card.

WARNING: Electrical shock hazard! Make sure the power is turned off and the external power cables have been disconnected before removing the computer cover.
CAUTION 1: This task should be performed by a qualified computer technician.
CAUTION 2: Please observe steps to reduce the potential damage to computer components from electrostatic discharge.
NOTE 1: If there is an EIDE hard drive controller is embedded on the motherboard, you may need to disable the EIDE controller on the motherboard before the new controller adapter card can be installed. You can add the new EIDE hard drive controller as a secondary EIDE controller with the EIDE hard drive controller on the motherboard configured as the primary EIDE controller. For further instructions on how to configure multiple EIDE controllers, contact next-level support or refer to the technical manuals for your computer, and hard drive controllers.
NOTE 2: Some EIDE hard drive controller adapter card also include a floppy drive controller. If you are not going to use the floppy drive controller on the EIDE hard drive controller adapter card, you disable the floppy drive controller before installing the adapter card. Refer to the adapter card manual or contact next-level support for further instructions.
NOTE 1: Windows 95 will auto-detect the new EIDE hard drive controller card and auto configure system drivers for the controller.
NOTE 2: If Windows 95 does not detect the controller, install the driver included with the controller.
